Getting around by bus is really simple. There are four routes as above, all of which meet up at the shuttle bus station across the road from Tamr Henna Square. They make little diversions to call in at the various resort hotels, both inwards and outwards. You will very quickly get to know from which direction to expect your bus if you want to get to the bus station, but even if you get it wrong the first time, you will simply get a ride around part of El Gouna you may not otherwise have seen, it won't take very long, and you will end up at the bus station. Going from the bus station, check on the destination card in the front window.

On your first trip, buy a weekly ticket off the driver. These cost about £1.50 per person and give you unlimited use on both shuttle buses and boats.
